Workshop Descriptions
New Wine, New Wineskin
This workshop will be offered on Friday via Zoom only. All can attend this workshop at Mt. Moriah or at home.
This workshop encourages believers to shed old paradigms and be receptive to God's new movements, fostering growth, vitality, and deeper connection with the divine. It serves as both a call to renewal and a practical guide for navigating change in personal faith journeys and church life.
Women in Ministry
This workshop aims to inspire women to embrace their calling, challenge cultural barriers, and serve with confidence and purpose, ultimately emphasizing that women are essential agents of God’s work in all aspects of ministry
Effective Communication
The workshop will equip attendees with practical strategies to improve personal and professional relationships, reduce misunderstandings, and promote a culture of open, confident, and respectful communication with an emphasis on utilizing technology effectively.
Church Visitation Ministry
This workshop will explore the power of presence which is rooted in faith, love, and community. Attendees will learn how to be committed to walk alongside members during life’s most challenging seasons through extending the heart of the church beyond the sanctuary-into homes, hospitals, and moments of sorrow.
Jesus, Prayer, and Then Therapy
This session will provide practical steps you can use tomorrow to help support your members, including understanding common mental health conditions, recognizing crucial warning signs like suicidality, and knowing when and how to effectively refer to specialized mental health professionals. Join us to deepen your capacity to minister to the whole person—mind, body, and soul—and continue to be a beacon of hope and healing in your congregation.
Bridging the Gap: A Pathway to Better Intergenerational Leadership
Building on the paradigm shift addressed in our opening New Wine, New Wine Skins session. This breakout will provide a framework and methodology to foster productive growth and legacy building by two-way wisdom sharing.
